Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated October 12, 2026
Tested Glow earns money through affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works, so you can factor it into how you read anything we publish.
The short version
When you click a retail link on this site and buy something, we may earn a commission. You pay the same price either way. We do not accept payment for placement, and no brand has editorial control over anything we publish.
Programs we participate in
Amazon Associates. As an Amazon Associate, Tested Glow earns from qualifying purchases.
We may add other affiliate programs over time. When we do, they will be listed here and disclosed on the relevant pages.
What the commission does not buy
| Not for sale | What that means in practice |
|---|---|
| Inclusion in an article | A product appears because it is relevant, not because a brand paid |
| A positive verdict | We say when something is a poor value, poorly formulated, or not worth it |
| Ranking position | Commission rates vary by category; our rankings do not follow them |
| Pre-publication review | No brand sees an article before it is published |
| Removal of criticism | We do not remove accurate reporting because a brand objects |
How links are marked
Commercial links on this site point either to a specific product page or to a retailer search for the product, depending on what is most useful at the time of writing. We use retailer search links when product listings change frequently, because a fixed link can go stale within weeks.
We do not use link-cloaking or redirect chains, and every external commercial link is marked as such in the page's markup with a nofollow sponsored attribute, which is the standard signal search engines use to identify paid placement.
Pricing and availability
Prices change constantly and vary by region, seller and promotion. Any price referenced in an article is accurate only as of the date the article was written or last updated. We link to retailer search results so you can check the current price rather than relying on a figure in our text.
Product sourcing
We do not claim to have tested products we have not used. Where an article discusses a product we have not personally used, the analysis is based on published formulation information, manufacturer specifications and category-level reasoning — and the article says so.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is intended to satisfy the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). The disclosure appears at the top of every commercial article, before the first affiliate link, in addition to this page.
