Cookie Notice
Last updated October 12, 2026
This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used on testedglow.com. For the wider picture on data handling, see our Privacy Policy.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. It lets a site remember something between page loads — a preference, a session, or whether you have already seen a notice.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
tg_cookie_ack | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice | Essential | 12 months |
We keep this list deliberately short. This site does not require an account, does not personalise content by visitor, and does not run advertising of its own.
Cookies set by others
When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to this site. Those cookies are controlled by the retailer, not by us, and are governed by the retailer's cookie and privacy policies. We never see your personal details — only aggregate reports confirming that a commission was earned.
If we embed third-party media in future (for example video), that provider may set cookies when the embed loads. We will list any such provider here before enabling it.
Analytics
We use aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics that do not build individual visitor profiles and do not require a tracking cookie. The data tells us which articles are read; it does not tell us who read them.
Controlling cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely, which will not break this site — you may simply see the cookie notice again on your next visit.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Prevent cross-site tracking
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Blocking all cookies may affect how some third-party retail sites function, but it will not prevent you from reading anything here.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour browser-level opt-out signals where technically possible. Because we do not run behavioural advertising or sell data, the practical impact of these signals on this site is minimal.
Changes
If we introduce a new cookie, we will add it to the table above and update the date at the top of this page.
